Despite decarbonization efforts, some industrial emissions remain unavoidable. The 50 highest-emitting industrial sites in France require the storage of 4 to 8 MtCO2 per year. CCUS technologies offer an innovative solution for these residual emissions.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, an EVASTOCO2 study led by BRGM and conducted by the &#8220;storage&#8221; working group of the &#8220;New Energy Systems&#8221; strategic sector committee (CSF NSE), with AVENIA as coordinator for the onshore zone in the South-West, is taking stock of existing geological data.
