The USG subscribes to POLE AVENIA
The mission of the AVENIA competitiveness hub is to promote the activities of the subsurface and geoscience sectors. In late 2018, three subsurface sectors that were still missing, including geotechnology, joined the excellence hub based in Pau, through the subscription of the USG. The ambition of AVENIA is to concentrate the entire geoscience ecosystem in one place, not forgetting the techniques used: software, equipment, wells, etc. Certified a competitiveness hub in 2010 in the ecotechnologies category, its three historical sectors of activity were oil & gas, geothermal energy and underground storage.
